PHOTOS: $330,000 gold Ferrari 458 Spyder spotted in London

However, this $330,000 Ferrari 458 Spyder wrapped in a $7,000 layer of gold vinyl was spotted parked outside a gym in the Kensington area of London.
The Ferrari 458 Spider is the convertible version of Ferrari’s most popular supercar.
The car, which has got considerable attention on social media, belongs to undefeated world kickboxing champion Riyadh Al Azzawi from Iraq – who has held his crown since 2008 with 47 wins from 47 bouts.
Al Azzawi, who was training at the nearby LA Fitness gym, has been Arab champion twice, UK champion twice and European champion on his way to becoming the reigning world champion.

Call it impressive or call it preposterous, there’s no denying that the Burj Khalifa is a ground breaking feat of architecture and engineering. The world’s tallest building pierces the sky at 828m (seven times the height of Big Ben) and opened on 4 January 2010, only six years after excavations began. Up to 13,000 workers toiled day and night, at times putting up a new floor in as little as three days. Inside Dubai’s own ‘Tower of Babel’ is a mix of offices and apartments; the building is also home to Armani Hotel – the world’s first hotel to be designed and developed by Giorgio Armani.
For visitors, the main attraction is the observation deck on the 124th floor. From such lofty heights you can easily pinpoint the offshore developments and other landmarks. Getting to the deck means passing various multimedia exhibits until a double-decker lift whisks you up at 10m per second. When you reach level 124, you’re a lofty 442m in the air. Reserved time-stamped tickets are available at the ticket office and online; ponying up Dh400 lets you go straight through.

Inside Dubai's latest crazy extravagant hotel

==It sounds like a chapter out of "The Arabian Nights."
In order to take advantage of a new couples promotion at Dubai's latest luxury hotel launch, customers have to utter a select phrase over the phone.
"By quoting 'silence is golden' when making a reservation, guests will receive a complimentary upgrade to a Fairmont Gold View Room, offering sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf and Marina skyline," reads the package promotion for couples who want to "sprinkle a little gold dust" during their stay at the new Fairmont the Palm in Dubai.
Corny promotions aside, the latest Middle East luxury hotel does look like something out of an Arabian fairy tale.
DSA Architects International infused traditional Arabic touches into the design of the 381 room hotel. More than 100 mashrabiya designs are sprinkled throughout the resort, while Arabian carpets cover more than 23680 linear meters of floor space.
The new property -- which cost a reported US$-330 million to build is the only operational hotel on the "trunk" of Palm Jumeirah, the world's largest island, which is shaped like a palm tree.
Rooms start at 2,999 dirhams (US$-817).
The hotel is offering a number of packages for its launch. The Couples Package ("silence is golden") starts at 1,899 dirhams (US$-517).
Fairmont the Palm opened in Dec. 2012. This is the 7th Middle East hotel launch for Canadian luxury hotel operator Fairmont Hotels and Resorts.

Burj Khalifa Dubai, UAE

Dubai is one of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is located south of the Persian Gulf on the Arabian Peninsula. The Dubai Municipality is sometimes called Dubai state to distinguish it from the emirate. Written accounts document the existence of the city for at least 150 years prior to the formation of the UAE.
Dubai shares legal, political, military, and economic functions with the other emirates within a federal framework, although each emirate has jurisdiction over some functions such as civic law enforcement and provision and upkeep of local facilities. Dubai has the largest population and is the second-largest emirate by area, after Abu Dhabi. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the only two emirates to possess veto power over critical matters of national importance in the country's legislature. Dubai has been ruled by the Al Maktoum dynasty since 1833. Its current ruler, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is also the Prime Minister and Vice-President of the UAE.
The emirate's main revenues are from tourism, property, and financial services. Although Dubai's economy was originally built on the oil industry, revenues from petroleum and natural gas currently contribute less than 6% (2006) of the emirate's US$ 80 billion economy (2009). Property and construction contributed 22.6% to the economy in 2005, before the current large-scale construction boom.
Dubai has attracted world attention through many innovative large construction projects and sports events. This increased attention, coinciding with its emergence as a global city and business hub, has highlighted labour and human rights issues concerning its largely South Asian workforce.
